Where the Land Falls in Love with the Sky

Our Spring/Summer 2025 collection, Where the Land Falls in Love with the Sky, explores the possibilities of textile manipulation using mud dyes made from natural minerals derived from the soil. Through this exploration of color, we are reminded to delight in wonder, to remain curious, and to always seek to learn. This is the way of the Gentleman Gardener.

To express this wonder and curiosity, we partnered with the creative duo Kesiah Manival and Zeami Eccles-Irwin to create a short film about rediscovering the beauty of it all.

Setting out to explore the natural elegance of our region, we found ourselves in the Columbia River Gorge—amid forests, grass valleys, and wildflower-covered hillsides, looking westward toward the setting sun.

Our film tells a story of love as a revolutionary act—rooted in the majesty of the natural world and celebrating the sacred beauty of our lives.

Filmed on Super 16mm & 8mm Kodak film.
