The pigment, iron (III) oxide, gives the fabric its earthy tone and comes from a centuries-old tradition revived by Kosyokunobi, a group dedicated to sustainable, soil-based color derived entirely from the earth.
To care for your garment, wash it separately for the first few washes to prevent any excess dye from transferring. After that, it can be laundered like any regular item.
