Cape Horn Trail
Seeking to explore the natural wonders of our region, we escape the city and head towards the Columbia River Gorge. Discovering a footpath, we wander the trail to see what can be found along the way.
Open fields of flowers forming islands of color decorate the scenery as we move closer to a woodland. Entering the forest, the cool air relaxes the body and eases our mind as the footpath continues leading us further into this enchanted place. We come upon a great old tree, feeling it’s welcoming call we climb the lower branches as the suns warmth brings tranquility in this moment.
The forest opens to reveal a view of the river high up on the lands edge. Taking in the sight of the water moving slowly through this valley, we discover again the wonder of it all. A space found to witness beauty and delight in the splendor of this place we call home.
